Windirstat: free storage analyzer for Windows!

Have you ever tried to find a solution to the problem of your disks constantly filling up with unnecessary data? In this post, I will show you WinDirStat, a free and open source software that will (most likely) find a solution to this problem, by analyzing the data of used space on your disks. WinDirStat can create a so called "treemap", where every file on your disk is represented by a colored rectangle. It can be super useful because you can easily find large files that you've long forgotten about and are still taking up storage space.


You can download WinDirStat here. It only works on Windows, but you can find alternatives if you have a different OS.
